POP email id settings on Microsoft Office Outlook 2007 – SSL OFF

    1. Start Outlook.
    2. On the Tools menu, click Account Settings.
    3. Click New.
    4. In the Auto Account Setup dialog box, click to select the Manually configure server settings or additional server types check box, and then click Next.
    5. Click Internet E-Mail, and then click Next.
    6. In the Server Information section, select POP3 for Account Type.
    7. In the Your Name box, enter your name exactly as you want it to appear to recipients.
    8. In the E-mail Address box, type your e-mail address.
    9. In the User Name box, type Username. For eg. abc@domainname.com or abc-domainname
    10. In the Password box, type your password.
    11. In the Incoming mail server box, type mail.domainname.com;
    12. In the Outgoing mail server (SMTP) box,type mail.domainname.com
    13. Click on more settings-> Outgoing Server->Tick My Outgoing Server requires authentication
    14. In Advanced Tab,
      1. Incoming server : 110
      2. Outgoing server : 2525
      3. Use following type or encrypted connection : None
      4. Tick Leave a copy of messages on Server.

    15. Click Next after you have completed entering this configuration information, and then click Finish

POP email id settings on Microsoft Office Outlook 2007 – SSL ON

    1. Start Outlook.
    2. On the Tools menu, click Account Settings.
    3. Click New.
    4. In the Auto Account Setup dialog box, click to select the Manually configure server settings or additional server types check box, and then click Next.
    5. Click Internet E-Mail, and then click Next.
    6. In the Server Information section, select POP3 for Account Type.
    7. In the Your Name box, enter your name exactly as you want it to appear to recipients.
    8. In the E-mail Address box, type your e-mail address.
    9. In the User Name box, type Username. For eg. abc@domainname.com or abc-domainnameI
    10. In the Password box, type your password.
    11. In the Incoming mail server box, type mail.domainname.com
    12. In the Outgoing mail server (SMTP) box, type mail.domainname.com
    13. Click on more settings-> Outgoing Server->Tick My Outgoing Server requires authentication
    14. In Advanced Tab,
      1. Incoming server : 995
      2. Outgoing server : 465
      3. Use following type or encrypted connection : SSL
      4. Tick Leave a copy of messages on Server.

    15. Click OK.
    16. Click Next after you have completed entering this configuration information, and then click Finish

IMAP email id settings on Microsoft Office Outlook 2007 - SSL OFF

    1. Start Outlook.
    2. On the Tools menu, click Account Settings.
    3. Click New.

    6. In the Server Information section, select IMAP for Account Type.
    7. In the Your Name box, enter your name exactly as you want it to appear to recipients.
    8. In the E-mail Address box, type your e-mail address.
    9. In the User Name box, type Username. For eg. abc@domainname.com or abc-domainnameI
    10. In the Password box, type your password.
    11. In the Incoming mail server box, type mail.domainname.com; In the Outgoing mail server (SMTP) box, type mail.domainname.com
    12. Click on more settings-> Outgoing Server->Tick My Outgoing Server requires authentication
    13. In Advanced Tab,
      1. Incoming server : 143
      2. Outgoing server : 2525
      3. Use following type or encrypted connection : None
      4. Tick Leave a copy of messages on Server.

    14. Click Next after you have completed entering this configuration information, and then click Finish

IMAP email id settings on Microsoft Office Outlook 2007 - SSL ON

    1. Start Outlook.

    3. Click New.

    12. Click on more settings-> Outgoing Server->Tick My Outgoing Server requires authentication
    13. In Advanced Tab,
      1. Incoming server : 993

      4. Tick Leave a copy of messages on Server.

    14. Click Next after you have completed entering this configuration information, and then click Finish

Leave a Copy of Messages - Settings.

    1. Start Outlook.
    2. On the Tools menu, click Account Settings
    3. Select the account to change. The "Change E-mail Account" window opens.
    4. Click the "More Settings" button, then choose the "Advanced" tab.
    5. In the "Advanced" tab, check the Leave a copy of messages on the server checkbox.
    6. Change to 7 days option
    7. Click OK to close the "Internet E-mail Settings" window.
    8. The "Change E-mail Account" screen will then be visible. Click Next, then Finish.
